SPECIAL BOOKING POLICY AMEND – COVID-19 Booking & Cancellation Policy Update
Given the impact of COVID-19 on how we work and travel, we have been continuously adapting our cancellation policy as things evolve to give the most flexibility we can offer our guests. 

Our general Covid Secure policies are in place for any guest that has a direct Covid related issue that impacts their booking.  

Based on customer feedback, when guests have a COVID related issue or a general reason why they cannot make a stay date wish to reschedule their booking.  Therefore we have enhanced our standard booking T&C’s also – please see below: As of Friday 4th June – please see the updated our policy as below: 

1. COVID-SECURE REFUNDS – If your booking is affected by a COVID issue:

During 2021, for any booking that is affected by a Government closure or restrictions which means they cannot travel, guests will be offered a refund or the opportunity to make a date change.  This is part of our ‘COVID-Secure Refund’ policy.  Simply email info@further.space and chat to our customer reservations team should you have a query or booking update.  We do ask that guests please give us as much notice as possible if they cannot come, especially if they are aware of a travel restriction.  

2. STANDARD BOOKING – General Enhanced Flexibilities: 30th April to 30th June 2021

For any reservation (existing or new) with a stay date between the re-opening date (30th April through to 30th June) we require a minimum of 7 days notice to either change or cancel your booking.  This is to allow for increased flexibility for the customer, but enough time for us to make amends to pre-set preparations.·         
Cancellation made 8 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full refund·         
Cancellation made 7 days or less of arrival date (but more than 2 days before stay date) = 50% refund or non-refundable move of date·         
Cancellation made 48hrs or less of arrival date = No refund issued, full amount of booking retained*.

*Any extenuating circumstances outside of this will be reviewed by the team on a case by case basis and is at the discretion of the company. 

3. STANDARD BOOKING – July and August 2021:
From the 1st July to 31st August 2021
 For any reservation with a stay date after the 1st July and 31st August, normal T&C’s apply for non-Covid issues unless advised otherwise:·        
Cancellation made 15 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full refund·        
Cancellation made 14 days or less of arrival date = 50% refund·        
Cancellation made 48hrs or less of arrival date = No refund issued, full amount of booking retained.

Please note guests may also upgrade to our new enhanced flexible booking policies as below once notice is given


4. STANDARD BOOKING* – From 1st September 2021 forward:
From the 1st September 2021
For any reservation with a stay date after the 1st July and 31st August that wishes to upgrade or a stay after the 1st September, normal T&C’s apply for non-Covid issues unless advised otherwise:·         
Cancellation made 15 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full refund·        
Cancellation made 14 days or less of arrival date = A non-refundable change of date is permitted (once only)·        
Cancellation made 48hrs or less of arrival date = No refund issued, full amount of booking retained.

*Any extenuating circumstances outside of this will be reviewed by the team on a case by case basis and is at the discretion of the company.  

Please note this policy is subject to change and all customers will be notified. Standard T&C’s are listed in our website. 

POD PRE-PAYMENT POLICY:
Please note that the full purchase amount is taken at the time of booking for your accommodation (The Pod).  If you need to amend or cancel at any point please see the details below on our cancellation policy.

ADD-ON POLICY:
For purchasing add-on’s (such as the camp fire package) these will be reserved and charged for approx. 5 days before your stay if not already included in a package.

GUESTS PERMITTED PER POD:
Maximum capacity per pod is 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids).
The pod is suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids based on the sleeping arrangements of 1 double bed and bunk beds, but can also accommodate 1 adult and 3 kids if the third child can sleep in the double bed.  
We can also accommodate one baby as a travel cot can be provided free of charge, simply add-on a cot (therefore a guest combination of 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant).

GROUP BOOKINGS
After the booking has been made please send us an email to confirm how many guests will be staying in the other pods and we will allocate the correct number of guests to each pod as the system only allows the guests for the lead booking. We need to know how many guests are on site for health and safety reasons – thanks for your help here.  

CANCELLATION, RETURNED DEPOSIT & NON-ARRIVAL CONDITIONS 

Guest who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible. Deposits already paid are only returned in accordance with the following conditions:

  • Cancellation made 15 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full refund
  • Cancellation made 14 days or less of arrival date = 50% refund
  • Cancellation made 48hrs or less of arrival date = No refund issued, full amount of booking retained.

Non-arrival guests, who are unable to attend or fail to attend for whatever reason forfeit their deposit paid and the full amount of the booking will be due.
